Well, I can't believe that my last post was the last time Spacex launched, but there it is.
The near-flawless execution of the launch of a re-entry capsule is truly extraordinary. As Elon mentioned, if this doesn't silence Spacex's detractors, then nothing will. But then, a successful enterprize will always have some detractors, because success can be a painful reminder of other's lack of success.
We continue to move forward into a different world, a world of commerical space access, and of enterpreneurialism. We are going to see space open up and present opportunities that have been unimaginable until now. The old ways of doing things are going to be transcended, and we will wonder why we didnt' get this started sooner.
